Mind
introduce yourself?
- Hi, my name is Jau Yn@ Louis and am currently studying in Malaysia.
How did you first expose to the game of Go?
- My first exposure was when i saw Xinwen and other members playing the
game of Go in a class. Poke into it and
found the Go game is very intellectual.
Few weeks later, i took up the lesson to
learn the game and got addicted to it.
So, how good are you now?
- I am still a beginner due to lack of practice and well... no one to play
with. Almost a year, i didn't have a
chance to play with anyone but I'm still
interested to learn!
What do you think of Go? To what extent you think Go
is a good/bad game?
- Go is a very good game as it enhances critical thinking in the game set
where it's like a warfare. It gests the
brain ticking and makes us aware of what
is happening in the world of Go. As
quoted from Xinwen," Every move has
its own meaning". That is totally
equivalents to the decisions we make in
our life.
Every move we make creates another way in life.
However, it's not to imply that Go is
superbly great but if combined with
other elements of studies in the life we
are progressing... it sure makes us
think. To a certain extent Go has made a
"Whoa!" in my life. Not totally my life
but the little things we make. That one
stone put one the board we put is like a
jump in decision. If we jumped too far,
we may get separated from our
achievements. However if we jump too
litte, we missed a number of chances.
Balance is important. A poem to express
my feeling toward this game hereby i
compose in free verse:
The game of Go
Beginning with a simple touch
the first step of our journey is made.
complications hops around as we make
decisions,
mistakes are made and lessons are
taught.
victory or misery may be felt when the
game ends,
but there is always a chance to start
all over again.
A haiku version for Go :
"plak!"
the sound of the game of GO,
the war has begun
